My apologies for disappearing for so long. Life has been kicking my butt lately.
Since it is spring, I think I'll get into a creative mindset and crank out some new jewelry designs. Maybe something steampunk.
A more adequate update will follow shortly.

ArtFire's New Deal
Recently a site that I have some love for, ArtFire.com, announced that they will be having a promotion for members. As a way to celebrate finishing their beta testing they are offering members a $5.95 /month PRO account! The normal going rate is $15.95 /month. Normally I would have jumped on the opportunity right away, but being as I have had my shop for over a year and still have not sold anything I'm a little leery of putting even more money into this. It's really starting to be a black hole for my bank account.
So, what do you guys think? Should I go for it?

Inspired by Pink
Recently I have been going through my inventory and salvaging beads from creations that just don't make the cut anymore. Most recently I salvaged some pink Swarovski Pearls and some Indian Pink Swarovski Crystals. Without really thinking about an outcome I started to play around with ways to combine the two into one item, and I came up with this gorgeous little bracelet.
I just love it! This might be one that I'll have to pry myself away from if I decide to list it for sale. Another project of mine that I just recently completed would be this necklace and earring set made from Swarovski Pearls and Ruby Coral colored seed beads. I played with the design for a while before finally settling on one I liked.
I have also been working on making beaded ornament covers, but that's a post for another day.

Boredom
I got bored so I decided to give an update since it's been a while.
I have re-worked my ArtFire shop. It is now set to include all crafting projects I may decide to try and sell. If I have the excess income I may decide to give Etsy a try since ArtFire is working sooo well for me. Maybe then I'll actually make a sale.
Also I will try to make more posts on this blog. You'll just have to check back to see what kind of projects I post. Maybe I'll get back to making some tutorials.
